This brief guide was cre­at­ed to pro­vide you with basic infor­ma­tion about health­care ser­vices in Brno, the sec­ond largest city in the Czech Repub­lic. It was devel­oped with­in the Project 738091/MyHealth, which has received fund­ing from the Euro­pean Union’s Health Pro­gramme (2014–2020). The guide is intend­ed for non-EU nation­als.
This endeav­our would not have been pos­si­ble with­out con­tin­u­ing coop­er­a­tion with the South Mora­vian Cen­tre for For­eign­ers JMK that pro­vid­ed the oppor­tu­ni­ty to under­stand more close­ly the health needs of for­eign­ers in Brno.
The JMK will be host­ing this mul­ti­lin­gual resource on its pub­lic web­site. We would also like to acknowl­edge the Divi­sion of Social Inclu­sion of the Brno City Municipality’s Depart­ment of Social Affairs, along with many oth­er orga­ni­za­tions and indi­vid­u­als, for the coop­er­a­tion on the project. We sin­cere­ly hope this guide could be help­ful in bet­ter under­stand­ing of the local health­care as an inte­gral part of life in Brno.
