Czech Grammar Courses for EU Citizens – Autumn 2022

We will open new Czech cours­es start­ing Sep­tem­ber 19, 2022. You can reg­is­ter from Sep­tem­ber 4, 2022 (18.00) until Sep­tem­ber 7, 2022 (18:00). You can find the reg­is­tra­tion low­er on this page. 

• Cours­es are for all cit­i­zens of the Euro­pean Union (EU) and the Euro­pean Eco­nom­ic Area (EEA), who are long-term res­i­dents of the South Mora­vian region.
• Clients with Czech cit­i­zen­ship and from coun­tries out­side the EU and EEA can­not reg­is­ter for these cours­es.
• It is pos­si­ble to reg­is­ter for only one course.  

Dura­tion of the course: 3–4 months.

Fre­quen­cy of lessons: 2× per week accord­ing to sched­ule.

Course spec­i­fi­ca­tions: vocab­u­lary, gram­mar, read­ing, lis­ten­ing, speak­ing, writ­ing.

WARNING: Before you reg­is­ter, you need to know your lan­guage lev­el. 

How to register for the course:

1. I am a client of the Cen­tre – if you have already tak­en a course with us and you fin­ished the final test with at least 70%, reg­is­ter for a course that is one lev­el high­er.
2. I am a new client and I know a bit of Czech – you have to take the oral and writ­ten part of the place­ment test. Both parts are manda­to­ry. 

• Fin­ish the writ­ten part by 30 July 2022. The num­ber of places is lim­it­ed, sign up as soon as pos­si­ble through the intro­duc­to­ry form or cre­ate an account in our e‑learning sys­tem.
• We will con­tact you after you com­plete the test. We will agree on a meet­ing and the oral part of the test; it is pos­si­ble to do it face to face or online through ZOOM.
• Due to orga­ni­za­tion­al rea­sons, we do not accept Czech lan­guage cer­tifi­cates from cours­es from oth­er insti­tu­tions. 

3. I am a new client and I don’t speak Czech at all – you don’t have to take the test. Reg­is­ter for the A1.1 course. 

Covid INFO:

• Cours­es will take place in per­son at Mezír­ka 1, Brno. If the covid sit­u­a­tion wors­ens, the cours­es will take place online.
• Cours­es marked as online takes place through the Zoom appli­ca­tion no mat­ter the sit­u­a­tion.

• Fill out the reg­is­tra­tion form,
• Before send­ing, fill out the box “I am not a robot”,
• Click the but­ton “Send”,
• Wait for the con­fir­ma­tion e‑mail. We will send it with­in 14 days.
