Czech language courses for non-EU citizens — registration

From 7 April 2025 we will open another Czech language course for you!  
You can register from 17 to 23 March 2025 below on this page.  

Who are the courses for?    
✅ Foreigners who reside in the South Moravian region for more than 90 days.  
✅ Citizens of countries outside the European Union    
❌ Courses are not intended for people with Czech citizenship     
❌ It is possible to apply for only one course 

Course offer:

Slavic courses are for people who already know some of the Slavic languages, for example Ukrainian, Russian, Croatian, etc. 

NOTE: Before you register you must know your level of proficiency! 

How to sign up for a course:  

✅ I am already a client of the Centre – if you have already attended a course with us and you passed the final test with at least 70 %, sign up for the course one level above you. 
✅ I am a new client, and I don't speak Czech at all - you don't have to take the test. Sign up for A1.1 
✅ I am a new client (I have not attended any courses at the Centre for Foreigners), but I know some Czech - you have to pass the written and oral parts of the Placement Test. Both parts are compulsory! 

Placement test 

The test has two parts - written and oral: 
📌 Testing will take place from 10 to 21 March 2025 (max 40 places)    
📌 The written part can be found HERE. If you do not have an E-learning account, click HERE. 
📌 After completing the written placement test, you will be contacted by our methodologist within a few days in order to arrange a date for the oral part. You can meet in person at the Centre for Foreigners or online via Zoom.

• Fill out the registration form, 
• Before sending, fill out the “I am not a robot” panel“, 
• Click the “Send” button“, 
• Wait for the confirmation e-mail. 

We want to give everyone a chance, which is why we still have a lottery system. After your registration, please wait for an e-mail to see if you have been selected. This e-mail will come within 14 days. 

Basic Information:

📆 Duration of the course: 24 lessons    
📅 Regularity of lessons:  2 times a week according to the schedule.   
🎯 Course focus: grammar, vocabulary, speaking and writing
