CZECH GRAMMAR COURSES FOR NON-EU CITIZENS (AUTUMN 2021)

In the week of 13th Sep­tem­ber 2021, we are open­ing new Czech lan­guage cours­es for you. 

• The cours­es are intend­ed for all for­eign­ers with a res­i­dence per­mit over 90 days, liv­ing in the South Mora­vian Region.
• Clients with Czech cit­i­zen­ship can­not apply for the cours­es.

 Course lev­els:

• Non-Slav­ics, lev­els A1.1 — B1.4
• Slav­ics, lev­els A1 — B1.4

Dura­tion of 1 course: 3 months
Reg­u­lar­i­ty of lessons: 2 times a week accord­ing to the sched­ule
Length of lessons: 1 les­son = 3*45 min­utes.
Course Focus: Gen­er­al lan­guage cours­es: vocab­u­lary, gram­mar, read­ing, lis­ten­ing, speak­ing, writ­ing

Course reg­is­tra­tion: ONLINE on the web­site of the Cen­tre for For­eign­ers JMK, on 29th August 2021, at 18.00.

PAY ATTENTION: You have to know your lan­guage lev­el before appli­ca­tion!!!

REGISTRATION TO THE COURSE, 3 options:

1. I AM A CLIENT OF THE CENTRE

   – I have com­plet­ed the course at the Cen­tre before = I know my lev­el + I passed the final test of the course with at least 70%

   • you con­tin­ue (apply) one lev­el high­er 

2. I AM A NEW CLIENT = I have nev­er been to the Cen­tre for for­eign­ers JMK before. I have not tak­en the Czech course there. I CAN SPEAK CZECH A LITTLE BIT:

• • take the place­ment test
  • Take the writ­ten test online until the 15th of August 2021.
  • Cre­ate an account in our e‑learning sys­tem: https://www.cizincijmk.cz/elearning/login/signup.php?
  • The place­ment test and fur­ther instruc­tions are avail­able here: https://www.cizincijmk.cz/elearning in cat­e­go­ry: „Place­ment test / rozřa­zo­vací test“
  • After com­plet­ing the test, we will con­tact you to arrange a per­son­al meet­ing.

3. I DON’T SPEAK CZECH AT ALL = DON’T DO THE TEST!!!

• Log in to course A1.1 (Non-Slav­ic), or A1 (Slav­ic)

!!!! If you sign up for a high­er lev­el with­out test­ing first, you will auto­mat­i­cal­ly be placed on the wait­ing list!!!! It is pos­si­ble to enrol in ONLY ONE course. If the lec­tur­er finds out that your lev­el of Czech does not match the lev­el of the group, you will be reject­ed from the course. There­fore, please think care­ful­ly about which course you sign up for.

Covid INFO:

• Cours­es take place in per­son at Mezír­ka 1, Brno. In case of a change of sit­u­a­tion, the cours­es will be held online.
• Cours­es marked as “online” will be pro­vid­ed via the Zoom app in all sit­u­a­tions. 

Reg­is­tra­tion:

1. Select an appro­pri­ate course from the list.
2. Com­plete the reg­is­tra­tion form (bot­tom of this page).
3. Fill in the “I am not a robot” field before sub­mit­ting.
4. Click the “Sub­mit” but­ton.
5. Wait for a con­fir­ma­tion email to be sent to you with­in 14 days.
