CZECH GRAMMAR COURSES FOR NON-EU CITIZENS (AUTUMN 2021)

In the week of 13th September 2021, we are opening new Czech language courses for you. 

• The courses are intended for all foreigners with a residence permit over 90 days, living in the South Moravian Region.
• Clients with Czech citizenship cannot apply for the courses.

 Course levels:

• Non-Slavics, levels A1.1 – B1.4
• Slavics, levels A1 – B1.4

Duration of 1 course: 3 months
Regularity of lessons: 2 times a week according to the schedule
Length of lessons: 1 lesson = 3*45 minutes.
Course Focus: General language courses: vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, speaking, writing

Course registration: ONLINE on the website of the Centre for Foreigners JMK, on 29th August 2021, at 18.00.

PAY ATTENTION: You have to know your language level before application!!!

REGISTRATION TO THE COURSE, 3 options:

1. I AM A CLIENT OF THE CENTRE

   – I have completed the course at the Centre before = I know my level + I passed the final test of the course with at least 70%

   • you continue (apply) one level higher 

2. I AM A NEW CLIENT = I have never been to the Centre for foreigners JMK before. I have not taken the Czech course there. I CAN SPEAK CZECH A LITTLE BIT:

• • take the placement test
  • Take the written test online until the 15th of August 2021.
  • Create an account in our e-learning system: https://www.cizincijmk.cz/elearning/login/signup.php?

  • After completing the test, we will contact you to arrange a personal meeting.

3. I DON’T SPEAK CZECH AT ALL = DON’T DO THE TEST!!!

• Log in to course A1.1 (Non-Slavic), or A1 (Slavic)

!!!! If you sign up for a higher level without testing first, you will automatically be placed on the waiting list!!!! It is possible to enrol in ONLY ONE course. If the lecturer finds out that your level of Czech does not match the level of the group, you will be rejected from the course. Therefore, please think carefully about which course you sign up for.

Covid INFO:

• Courses take place in person at Mezírka 1, Brno. In case of a change of situation, the courses will be held online.
• Courses marked as “online” will be provided via the Zoom app in all situations. 

Registration:

1. Select an appropriate course from the list.
2. Complete the registration form (bottom of this page).
3. Fill in the “I am not a robot” field before submitting.
4. Click the “Submit” button.
5. Wait for a confirmation email to be sent to you within 14 days.
