Open Day – Coworking Space

Are you looking to start a business or explore new job opportunities in the Czech Republic but feeling lost in the local job market? Join us for the grand opening of our Coworking Space and discover a place that can help you on your journey to a better future!

On February 19, 2025, we look forward to welcoming you to the grand opening of a new space for work, networking, and learning in the heart of Brno! From 2 PM to 5 PM, you can enjoy a rich program focused on career and personal development, great coffee, and light refreshments. Throughout the event, our labor market information specialists and career advisors will be available for consultations. Look forward to a great coffee and a workshop!

The event is free, and it’s up to you whether you stay for the entire program or just drop by for a while.

Program:

2:00 PM: Event opening and registration

2:15 PM: Official opening

Welcome speech by Alena Krejčí, Director of the Center for Foreigners, and the Director of the Employment Office

2:45 PM: Coffee & refreshment break

3:00 PM: Workshop: “Looking for a job in the Czech Republic – What to expect and how to do it” (30 min)

Learn everything you need to know about employment in the Czech Republic: How to search for a job, your rights and obligations, and salary expectations. We will also discuss cultural specifics of the Czech job market.

3:45 – 5:00 PM: Career consultations

After the workshop, you will have the opportunity to consult your CV with a career advisor and get useful tips on how to find a job in the Czech Republic.
